Santa Cruz Hinds House Weekly Rooms and RatesOur Santa Cruz historic hotel is fully furnished with sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, clock/radio/CD player, desk, lamps, television, closet hangers, and extra towels. Just bring your suitcase and relax. All of our rooms are furnished with hand-made natural latex beds, the most comfortable beds in the world. The photographs on this page are done in panorama style so you can see each room from side to side. Be aware that the third floor rooms are attic rooms with sloping ceilings. Room 6. 14x16' plus a square dormer. 224 square feet. Air Conditioned. $425/week :::: One Queen Bed This attic room features a queen size hand-made natural latex mattress, oversize closet and storage nook, writing desk, three lamps, an antique highboy dresser, air conditioning, 19" T.V. with DVD, clock (FM) radio with iPod player, iron, ironing board, laundry sack, and an operable skylight. The attic floor of the house has two common bathrooms, both with showers. This room deosn't have a private bathroom. Rooms 1 and 2 have private bathrooms.
Room 7 . 11x14'. 155 square feet. $375/week :::: One Twin Bed This attic room is our smallest and most affordable room for one person only. This room has a writing desk, three lamps, an antique highboy dresser, 13" T.V. with DVD, clock (FM) radio with CD, iron, ironing board, and laundry sack. The attic floor of the house has two common bathrooms, both with showers. This room doesn't have a private bathroom. Rooms 1 and 2 have private bathrooms.
Room 8. 13x19' plus a three sided dormer. 264 square feet. $425/week :::: One Queen Bed This attic room features a dormer alcove, a queen size hand-made natural latex mattress, writing desk, three lamps, a closet, an antique highboy dresser, 13" T.V. with DVD, iron, ironing board, laundry sack, clock radio with CD player, and two skylights. Room 9 . 13x20' plus a three sided roof bay. 260 square feet. Air Conditioned. $425/week :::: One Queen Bed This attic room features a triple window bay, a queen size hand-made natural latex mattress, a Victorian fainting couch, writing desk, three lamps, a closet, air conditioning, 20" T.V. with DVD, iron, ironing board, laundry sack, clock radio with CD player, and two antique dressers. The room has three hopper windows low in the south side of the house under the eaves. The attic floor of the house has two common bathrooms, both with showers. Air Conditioned. $425/week :::: One Queen Bed This attic room features one clear skylight with pull down translucent shades, a queen size hand-made natural latex mattress, a comfortable reading chair, writing desk, four lamps, a closet, iron, ironing board, laundry sack, air conditioning, 13" T.V. with DVD, clock radio with CD player, and antique dresser. The room has one top-opening window facing north, to the rear of the house. The attic floor of the house has two common bathrooms, both with showers. This room doesn't have a private bathroom. Room 11. 11x15'. 165 square feet. Private Sink, Air Conditioned. $425/week :::: One Double Bed This small attic room features a private sink and a small skylight with pull down translucent shades, a full size hand-made natural latex mattress, a writing desk with mirror, four lamps, antique dresser,iron, ironing board, laundry sack, air conditioning, 13" T.V. with DVD, clock radio with CD player, and an armoire for hanging clothes. The room gets afternoon sun through a top-opening window in a west facing gable. The attic floor of the house has two common bathrooms, both with showers. This room doesn't have a private bathroom. Rooms 1 and 2 have private bathrooms.

Room 1 . 14x16' plus a 3 sided bay window. 250 square feet. Private Bath $650/week :::: One Queen Bed The only room in the house with a balcony. Views down Church Street to downtown Santa Cruz, queen size natural latex mattress, closet with built-in dresser drawers, Victorian writing desk under flash glass multicolored window, and private bath with claw foot tub, iron, ironing board, laundry sack, 20" T.V. with VCR & DVD, clock radio with CD player. This second floor room gets morning light and faces southwest.
Room 2. 16x18' plus a 5 sided bay window. 336 square feet. Private Bath $650/week :::: One Queen Bed The largest room in the house features bay windows with views down Church Street to downtown Santa Cruz, a fireplace with 1880's art tiles, fainting couch, four poster queen size natural latex mattress, built-in dresser drawers, and private bath with claw foot tub, iron, ironing board, laundry sack, 13" T.V. with DVD, clock radio with CD player. This second floor room gets morning light and faces southeast. This room was originally built as the Hinds House upstairs parlor.
Room 3. 12x20''. 240 square feet. Private Sink $499/week :::: One Double Bed This is a favorite room on the second floor of the house. It was Joseph and Sarah Hinds' original bedroom and features a private sink, bay windows, armoire closet, writing desk, iron, ironing board, laundry sack, coffee table, and a Victorian settee, 20" T.V. with VCR and DVD, clock radio with CD player. Orientated to the south, this room has a beautifully carved 1800's double bed with hand-made natural latex mattress. This room doesn't have a private bathroom. Rooms 1 and 2 have private bathrooms.
Room 4 . 11x13'. 153 square feet. Private Sink $450/week :::: One Double Bed This is a cozy room on the second floor of the house. It features a walk in closet, built in cabinets, iron, ironing board, laundry sack, private sink, 20" T.V. with DVD & VCR, clock radio with CD player. An orientation to the rear of the house, a north facing window, and antique painted wood full size hand-made latex mattress. This room doesn't have a private bathroom. Rooms 1 and 2 have private bathrooms.
